Dr Vasileios Drakopoulos attended – among distinguished Surgeons, Endocrinologists, Histopathologists, Nuclear Physicians and Radiologists – the Autumn Conference of the Hellenic Association of Endocrine Surgery. The Primary aim of the Conference was to share and discuss new information and evidence-based knowledge on the surgical management of parathyroid glands and to provide eligible recommendations/ guidelines on ambiguous fields. Dr Drakopoulos lectured on minimally invasive techniques in terms of surgical treatment of primary hyperparathyroidism and presented through a video, the Minimally Invasive Video-Assisted Parathyroidectomy (MIVAP) Method.
